Ping G440 Driver Review: Is It the Best Driver of 2025?

The Ping G440 driver arrives with plenty of promise, but is it really the best driver of 2025? I put it through its paces looking at distance, forgiveness and the feel you get when the swing is not quite perfect.

Ping has built a driver that wants to be trusted. The launch is easy to repeat, the sound is confident without being harsh, and the head stays remarkably stable when contact drifts away from the middle. On good swings it produces strong ball speed, while forgiveness keeps a slightly loose drive in play.
